The split is simple: your accounting software keeps the company's books, MaCompta Pro prepares and monitors the expenses that have not been invoiced yet.

What people ask us before subscribing.
No, and it does not try to. Your accounting software records what has happened: entries, supporting documents, returns. MaCompta Pro prepares for what is coming: scheduled expenses, recurring costs, reserves for VAT and contributions, cash flow for the months ahead. The two complement each other, and neither does the other's job.
It does not go through MaCompta Pro, and that is deliberate. Sending and receiving structured invoices is the job of your invoicing software or your accountant, who are connected to it. MaCompta Pro works before and after: what you know you will have to pay before an invoice exists, and what you have left once everything is deducted. Neither replaces the other — one records, the other prepares.
No. You enter what you already know: a due date, a cost that comes back every month, a percentage to set aside. No chart of accounts, no entries, no debits and credits. If you keep a spreadsheet to know what you really have left, you already know how to use MaCompta Pro.
No, to neither. You are never asked for bank credentials and no transactions are imported: you enter your amounts yourself. It takes a few seconds per line, and in return no access to your accounts is shared anywhere.
Nothing special: you correct the line, and everything that depends on it follows — what is actually available, the category budgets, cash flow for the following months. A forecast you cannot correct without starting over is not a forecast.
Two things, and only two. Pro covers one business; Pro+ covers as many as you like. Pro+ also adds simulations, which let you test the effect of an expense before committing to it. Everything else — planning, budgets, reserves, cash flow, calendar, insights, team members, tax simulation — is identical in both plans. The comparison on this page sets it out line by line.
Yes. Plans are billed monthly or yearly with no minimum term, and you switch from one to the other in your settings. If you stop, your data remains yours: you can export it before you leave.
In both. It is a budgeting tool: no tax rule is hard-coded, and you enter your own due dates — VAT schedule, social contributions, schemes. The app is designed in Belgium, and precisely because the rules differ, it decides nothing for you. The tax simulation, however, is Belgian and remains an estimate with no official value.
Yes. The business space and the personal space are two separate spaces, each with its own accounts, budgets and transactions. Nothing moves from one to the other, and a team member invited to the business cannot see your personal budget.
